I am a Senior Director at Salesforce AI Research, where I lead the Interactive AI Team. I have been incredibly fortunate to be mentored by brilliant leaders including Silvio Savarase, Caiming Xiong, Richard Socher, Pascale Fung, and An-Yeu (Andy) Wu, and I am privileged to collaborate with world-class AI researchers and product teams.

My research sits at the nexus of AI, humanity, and commerce – pushing the boundaries of frontier AI to create meaningful human progress and tangible economic growth. Recently, my primary focus areas include:

• Trustworthy and Human-Centric AI

My technical journey began in Electrical Engineering with a focus on circuit design and speech understanding. It has since evolved through Natural Language Processing (NLP) and dialogue systems to general large language modeling (LLM) and human-computer interaction (HCI). Today, my work centers on frontier agentic and multimodal AI.

My team delivers AI solutions and patents that power Salesforce products and frontier incubations. We also actively contribute to the scientific community by publishing at top-tier AI forums to advance academic research with award-winning records.
